About Us: How It All Began...

It all started quite spontaneously – born from a desire that many motorcycle enthusiasts likely share. My wife, Conny, and I love being out on two wheels, feeling the freedom, and discovering new places.

However, we kept running into two major hurdles:

• The Budget: Regular tours with overnight stays can get expensive. Standard hotel costs are often so high that you find yourself thinking twice about whether to actually head out for the weekend.

• The Route Lottery: We’ve all been there – a curve looks fantastic on the GPS map. You ride there full of anticipation, only to end up on a completely dilapidated, pothole-ridden track or at a dead end that you simply didn't know about as a stranger to the area.

Conny finally had a vision: Why don't we just connect? Why don't we share our local knowledge about the truly beautiful routes and find ways to make our hobby more affordable and community-focused again?

This idea led to our Facebook group, which we manage with a lot of heart and soul. It’s a place where we share experiences, give tips, and connect directly. This website is now the next step in organizing our community even better and making information more clearly accessible.

What Matters to Us

We are not a travel agency or an anonymous booking portal. We are a community based on reciprocity. For us, it’s all about:

• Community: Motorcycling connects people – no matter what model you ride or the size of your budget.

• Authenticity: We run this site and the Facebook group privately and out of pure joy for riding.
